Music is an integral part of our worship services. Our music ministry continues to expand as we constantly strive to create new ways to praise God through music. We offer a wide range of opportunities to participate in this wonderful ministry. There is a place for everyone, at virtually any skill level. Come join us!
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir,
directed by Justin Chase, provides weekly music for the 10:30 a.m. worship service.
Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 7:30 - 9:00 p.m., Room
514. A Great voice and the ability to read music are
not required, but a good ear and heart are a
must!
Children's
Music
Children in
kindergarten through grade 6 engage in singing and drama
experiences to prepare for monthly participation in
worship services. Rehearsals are Tuesdays, 6:30 - 7:15
p.m., Room 514. This is a wonderful way to combine
spiritual growth, service to church and community, and
sound musical & dramatic training. We have lots of fun,
too! For more information, please contact Susan Davis,
Director of Children's Music.
Westminster Ringers
This advanced handbell
ensemble, directed by Susan Davis, rings monthly
during worship services. Rehearsals are Wednesdays,
6:00 - 7:00 p.m. in Room 512.
WPPC
Ringers
This is an
inter-generational group for ringers of all ages and
abilities. Rehearsals are on Sundays, immediately
following the 10:30 service. This ensemble shares
music in worship from time to time. Contact Susan
Davis for more information.
Technical
Arts
No
experience is necessary to participate in the
technical preparation for the 10:30 a.m. service
each week. If computer graphics, audio mixing, stage
management, or being the behind-the-scenes person
that keeps everything moving smoothly is your
"thing," then this may be the ministry for you.
Training is provided, and willing people are
welcome. Contact Justin Chase for more information.
