- Congratulations to Kyle Connor for being selected to
sing at the ACDA (American Choral Directors Association)
National Convention in California. Kyle was one of five students
selected from Florida, four of whom were from Winter Park High
School. Kyle, who sings in our Chancel Choir and with our
Worship team, is a senior at Winter Park. We are very proud that
he is one of our student singers on scholarship.
- Congratulations also Vicki Stewart, who has been
accepted into the music department at Florida State University.
She is auditioning at several schools and will be making her
decision in the coming months. We are so proud of Vicki!!
- Kathleen Cook has been singing for First Presbyterian
Church of Deland, Florida. She is one of several paid section
leaders at that church, located across the street from Stetson
University where Kathleen is a senior. That church has a long
history of using students studying music to provide leadership
for its choir. Our hope is to establish that same tradition
here.
